Twins (also known as Twins @ Damansara Heights) is a luxury condominium nestled within the suburban jungle of Damansara Heights. This architecture marvel is a new landmark of Damansara Heights.

Twins is a joint-venture project between four companies, the Lion Group, the real estate investment arm of American International Group Inc, Singapore’s Koh Maju, and Heeton Holdings Ltd. This partnership is built under Panareno Sdn Bhd ship.

Twins is situated on a 0.87ha freehold land that fronting Jalan Damanlela and adjacent to Jalan Johar. This soon-to-be-iconic building features a glistening fusion of glass and metal, allowing the residents to enjoy undisrupted views of the city centre skyline and neighborhoods nearby.

Twins is designed by Singapore’s Axis Architects Planners, together with our local Veritas Architects. Among Axis piece of works are The Oceanfront at Sentosa Cove, Savannah CondoPark and The Pier at Robertson Quay. Meanwhile, its landscaping is done by Clouston Design.

As the name is, this is a twin tower condominium that consists of twin 36-storey blocks with a total of 318 residential suites, 159 units per block. There are seven unit types to choose from, with built-up sizes ranging from 766 sq ft to 2,078 sq ft for standard units, and from 2,171 sq ft to 5,261 sq ft for the penthouse suites that come in duplex and triplex suites.

Twins is surrounded by numerous commercial blocks and towers including Menara Millennium, Menara HP, Menara Manulife, Wisma Guthrie, Wisma UOA Damansara I and Wisma UOA Damansara II. Besides that, there is also a new commercial development, named Damansara City.

There is extensive network of roads and highways connecting Twins to other places. One can easily reach the city centre, Mont Kiara and Damansara Uptown via Sprint Highway. Besides that, one can access Jalan Duta, Jalan Kuching, Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), North-Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) via Sprint Highway.

Analysis

New development within Damansara Heights is indeed a sensitive issue these days, since the landslide tragedy that happened next to the CIMB building. But you can actually feel safe with this one since it is built on a level ground.

However, the location of Twins is also a drawback. The area is well-known for traffic and parking woes. Expect long crawls from Sprint Highway while entering this commercial enclave during peak hours. As there is not sufficient car park here, the roads become narrow which worsened the traffic flow.
