10 Semantan is developed and maintained by Meda Inc. The group is also responsible on a number of developments in Melaka, Tanjung Malim and Bukit Mertajam. It operates Summit Hotel in Subang USJ and another hotel in Bukit Mertajam. During its launch, buyers were offered the buy-to-lease option, which offered a guaranteed rental return of 8% per annum for 6 + 3 years, and other perks such as complimentary legal fees for sale and purchase and loan agreements.
A misfortune very unfortunately happened on 4th December 2008 when a landslide occurred due to the many developments in the area which encompassed both bungalows and high rises. 10 Semantan very fortunately escaped the disaster, and although many have already forgotten the unfortunate event, it still lingers on in many minds.
Traffic in the area is a major issue as 10 Semantan is located just beside the Sprint Highway, that connects Damansara to the Kuala Lumpur city centre.
