Analysis
Besides LaCosta, there are several high-rise residential (condominiums and service apartments) development within Sunway South Quay such as Nautica and A’Marine. These predecessors of LaCosta are launched at about RM550 psf and RM600 psf for A’Marine and Nautica respectively. Nautica was sold en-bloc to Korean investors. However, there are still several units available at the time when LaCosta was launched.
Even though the demands for these condominiums are quite high, most investors are not very interested in these developments due to high price tags as well as spoilt by choices as ones can opt for better located condominiums in established areas such as Mont Kiara, Sri Hartamas and Bangsar.
