Beringin Residence is an old English-style exclusive and low density residential estate within a gated and guarded community in the affluent Damansara Heights enclave. It neighbours Villa Vista, Medan Damansara and Lagenda Damansara.
Influenced by the Victorian architecture, Beringin Residence comprises 20 three-storey terrace townhouses, 16 three-storey semi-detached houses and 2 bungalows on a 3.2 acre of freehold land. Each unit consists of 4+1 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with built-up size of 3,800 sf for a semi-detached and 3,400 sf for a townhouse. It is furnished with marble, timber flooring, kitchen cabinet, seven air-conditioners and built-in wardrobes.
Located right next to Damansara Heights commercial hub, Beringin Residence is served by ample amenities. There are plenty of restaurants (such as Seng Lee and Shangri-La) and groceries (incuding Hock Lee’s) nearby – mostly at the commercial area. Schools are also within close proximity – Damansara Heights Montessori School, HELP University College and SK Bukit Damansara.
Shopping centres are just minutes away from Beringin Residence as well, including Bangsar Shopping Mall, Bangsar Village and Mid Valley Megamall. Moreover, it is also mere minutes of driving to Bukit Damansara Community Centre and Saidina Umar Al-Khatab Mosque. Accessibility-wise, it is very convenient to reach any spot of Klang Valley from Beringin Residence via vast array of expressways. Analysis
One of the drawbacks of Beringin Residence is that it shares the road with lines of commercial towers. Hence, the road (which is quite narrow) is congested during peak hours. Also, having these tall neighbors also deteriorate the exclusivity and privacy. But indeed, this still remains as one of the most exclusive house to call home in Malaysia.
Indeed, the design of Beringin Residence is phenomenal and really appealing. Even though it is unique, its million dollar price tag seems to be too expensive. As the price starts from RM4.5 million, it is about similar price to basic and old bungalows in Damansara Heights.
