Belair is already quite run down. Its facilities and building are not properly maintained. The paint has already faded as well. Besides that, most units are not in good condition unless they have been renovated by the owners.
Another drawback is Belair’s location of being right next to high tension cable. Hence, residents are exposed towards radiation hazard from the electromagnetic field (EMF). One should seek proper evaluation for such exposure against health risk.
There is a condominium development plan located besides Belair by Urban Hallmark. The development comprises four apartment blocks which designed like bungalows. With the upcoming new development, residents are concerned about traffic congestion along Lorong Basong as the road is a narrow dead-end road that leads to Belair.
For own stay, Belair is a decent place to reside for middle income gainers. Its price is quite low compared to its immediate neighbor like Desa Damansara and Damansara Villa in terms of price per square foot.
Weighing this investment in terms of capital appreciation, it is unlikely to appreciate much due to its very old age.
