Analysis
Setia Eco Park is not for all, as it is situated far away enough from the KL city centre, yet close enough via highway links to it. In addition, the hefty price tag will not suit everybody. Although some may say that the exclusive price tag does not befit Shah Alam, the township of Setia Eco Park is fit for those who want to get away from it all.
The houses are all large, well-built, and suitable for families and perhaps even inter-generational living. There are numerous precincts in the area that are great for walking around such as the Street of Art, Butterfly Creek, Twin Rose Ponds, Swan Lake, and much more. There are even butterfly and bird sanctuaries which is great for nature lovers or those who want to go to the zoo but hate the drive there.
Setia Eco Park is actually self-sufficient. Those who hate to drive around will love the fact that you don’t actually have to get out of Setia Eco Park as it pretty much has everything you need here. There are schools for the kids to attend including an international school, hypermarket, business centre, cafes and restaurants, a badminton academy, plus lots of activities such as a jogging and cycling path for those who are into the great outdoors.
In summary, if you can afford it, Setia Eco Park is a fantastic place to bring up the whole family. Prices are sure to rise, once the area is more developed and there are better public transportation or highway links.
